Support Our Community – Help Us Grow for the Future
At Loughrea Family and Community Resource Centre, we are committed to providing essential supports and services that enhance the wellbeing of individuals, families, and the wider community.
We are very fortunate to receive government funding, this funding covers the salaries of our small staff team and a portion of our operational costs. We do however rely heavily on fundraising activities, donations, sponsorship, and corporate support to deliver all the extra services.
This year, we have an exciting and ambitious goal: to create a dedicated Sensory Garden adjacent to the Resource Centre. This inclusive outdoor space will provide a safe, therapeutic, and welcoming environment for children, adults, older people, and individuals with additional needs to relax, connect, and engage with nature.
To bring this vision to life, we need to raise an additional €150,000. Achieving this target will allow us not only to develop the Sensory Garden but also to strengthen and expand our services, ensuring that we can continue meeting the needs of our community for years to come.
